Ottawa Canada Visitor Information and Guide

The Library of Parliament is the main repository of information for the Canadian Parliament.  It is situated at the back of the Centre Block on Parliament Hill.

The library was constructed in 1876 and survived the 1916 fire that destroyed the original Centre Block.  There are over 600,000 items stored in the library.

The Library of Parliament has been called "the most beautiful room in the country".
